HISTORY

•Web browser dates back in to the late 1980s, when a variety of technologies laid the foundation for the first Web browser, by Tim Berners-Lee in 1991.

•Web browser or Internet browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web.

•An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and may be a web page, image, video, or other piece of content.
